Homeowner Classes | DIY Hardscaping
Oklahoma Hardscape Supply holds classes for homeowners on how to increase the curb appeal and enjoyment they receive from their homes. Homeowners learn from lecture, discussions and visual aids the proper installation standards for paver patios, pathways, driveways, and how to build their own short retaining walls.
These classes are designed for do-it-yourselfers whov would like to do the installation and save money as well as for those who will need to know if a contractor is doing a proper installation! Attend one of these classes for tips on doing the job yourself and more importantly, learning some of the questions you need to ask the installation contractor prior to signing a contract.
These community hardscape education classes are presented on a rotating basis at the following locations:
|Broken Arrow Community Education||Tulsa Garden Center|
|Tulsa Community College SE Campus||Jenks Community Education|

Oklahoma State University – Stillwater Campus
We partner with The Landscape Architect and the Landscape Construction Management programs at OSU in their class covering Means and Materials. It includes a class segment on the proper methodology of installation of concrete pavers. Part of this class is an outdoor session where the students will do a hands-on- project and construct paths and paver projects inside of the “Oklahoma Gardening” site located on the Stillwater campus. The objective is that the students will have had an actual real world construction project in their background upon graduation.
Our company is a proud supporter of the Landscape Contracting Program at Oklahoma State University. For career information go to www.hortla.okstate.edu.
